When applied to personalities, the word "sweet" is overused. In fact, there are a lot of wedding-related words that have become cliched because they fit the situation well-enough that oftentimes we don't make the effort to come up with anything better, sharper, or more authentic.  And so at first thought, it would be instinctive, and quite accurate to say that Emily is sweet.

But its also completely insufficient. 

As a bride, it is easy to become wrapped up in the details of the day; to become stressed and anxious over little snags in a dress or flower arrangements. But it takes a special type of person to place the happiness of loved ones above all else on her own wedding day.  There is sweetness, and then there is irresistible goodness, the kind you can't help but start to absorb just from being around Emily, and Mike.

With Emily and Mike together, their joy was so contagious and so incredibly real, that it made documenting their wedding day almost effortless. They were exactly as happy in these images as they look. And that has absolutely nothing to do with me, and everything to do with the genuine love they share together, along with their incredible friends and family. This is their wedding day.
